We are a Majorette troupe based in Tiverton, Devon.

Diamond Twirlers formed in August 2009 by a group of parents who used to be majorettes.

We are part of the South West associated Majorettes (SWAM) and have just entered our third year of competing with them.

More than 30 girls originally signed up to the new majorette troupe, which made its first Tiverton appearance at the carnival on Saturday, November 21 2009.

Diamond Twirlers, based at Wilcombe Primary School, is relishing the opportunity to perform on home turf after its debut outing at Dulverton's night-time procession back in 2009.

We train at the school in Tiverton on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening every week.

We currently have over 27 members to the troupe, competing around the south west.
